Fiction vs Real world Halloween
Here’s how it all started…
Upon opening my eyes from a deep slumber, there’s a strange smell all over the place…
The lights are all dimed out and noises are starting to creep me out.
In a second, I can hear footsteps coming towards my room…
Quietly, I turn to the left side of the bed, grab a baseball bat, and pull out a flashlight from the cabinet.
The mysterious steps suddenly stop outside my bedroom door and now I can hear spooky voices that I’ve never heard before from any person or animal…
Minutes passed, and nothing yet has entered my room, so I decided to call out for help,
So I must up all the courage I have and decide to go downstairs and use the kitchen phone to call out for immediate help…
Just by opening the door, I see strange-looking figures like they just came out of a cemetery!
To my surprise they all cheer… “Happy Halloween!!!” and they present me with my favorite delicious chocolate cake!
I can’t believe it, from one minute I was grabbing onto the baseball bat for my dear life, now I’m blowing candles on my cake from loved ones.
There’s one problem though…
When I sliced and took a bite of the cake, It tastes horrible and upon spitting, there are worms everywhere… Now everyone I thought to be family is holding a knife and a fork ready to devour me alive!
What do I do as these ugly evil people squeeze me out of oxygen?
I try screaming helplessly but no voice is coming out only to wake up in a tick sweat and discover that it was just a nightmare!
While that may be fiction, picture this…
Imagine if the people holding forks and knives were actual real-world characters who do not hesitate to split your finances into pieces when they seduce you into it. You know whom I’m talking about the banks esp in this recession.
