I’ve been listening & reading Naval Ravikant’s materials lately…
And not so many times have I consumed content from books other than the classics that resonated with me on the basis of life. That’s why I’m open for a debate ;)
How to get wealthy without getting lucky?
Lucky means that all the money came when you do not expect it with no effort into it. This could be an inheritance, marrying for wealth etc.
None of that can lead to lasting success because we know how the story goes, about people who were left huge chunks of greens by their rich parents and somehow managed to screw up themselves or like in the movie, Death on the Nile ~ people doing ridiculous things for greedy-selfish reasons even from a “significant other” .
So yeah my friend, there’s a surefire way to get wealthy for sure. I don’t mean to exactly own a yacht, drive in fancy cars or wear designer clothes, although you could if that’s your dream. Moving on,
To have more than enough money coming into your bank account that you can choose to do anything you want is simply a matter of becoming that person. If you don’t know who that person is…
It’s YOU, a much more elevated, successful version of you that lives that good life you deserve.
So here’s how to get to that person..
1). Specific knowledge, one that can not be taught. But it can be learnt.
Here Naval, brings about the concept of education which was brought about in the 1930’s by Napoleon Hill in his book Think & Grow Rich where he explained about the purpose of education. As not being what you learn from school but bringing out what’s already within you.
This creates wealth as you’ll see in the first example below.
2). Create wealth through businesses.
This is the challenging part. Creating successful businesses means that you understand the type of person you are from the first step of which specific knowledge you’re attracted to. Through learning and discovery, you may discover the opportunity which will lead you to wealth.
For example, If your practice is helping people recover from illnesses as a doctor, you can turn that into a business by opening your own pharmacy, or a private practice where you can have other doctors practice under.
3). Use leverage to create wealth
If you might be asking. Well, what if I don’t have a specific knowledge to turn into a passive practice or don’t know how to start a business but want to be wealthy?
I have your back. Use LEVERAGE.
Leverage is the process that the wealthiest of our generation used to bring income even when they were sleeping. A good example is Rocker Feller, Leveraged on huge pipes to move his oil products from one city to the next without having to carry it using the railroad.
But you don’t have to be Rockefeller, all you simply have to do is leverage online programs that will make you money repeatedly even when you sleep with little effort on your side.
