Even though your friends might call you crazy and jealous in the end…

If starting a business can net you freedom and an income of a million dollars, then when is the right time to start?

Yeah, there might be a lot of noise going on that you should start when you’re young when you finish college when you have enough money saved up, and yada yada yada..

Well, the truth is, unless you do not have the willingness to commit for the long term, I mean like 10 years without seeing much results, with NO offense this game is not for you and there is no shame in that otherwise, this is the best time to start….

when you are ALIVE.

There are no rules in anyone’s life that aren’t self-created and attached to meaning. This is probably how our brains work. We have a story that supports our beliefs that justifies what we are doing, and why we are doing it.

EG: “I’m staying so late working on a test because I don’t want to fail or I want to pass”

See, that I’m staying so late is the action which is justified by the WHY, which is I don’t want to fail or I want to pass. So,

Regardless of your background, financial status, ethnicity, language or location here are some basic ideas that might help you get into the right physiology to start your own business.

1) . Invest in yourself

Once more here is old age wisdom asking you to invest a little bit more in yourself every day. Because this is the one this no economic breakdown can take away from you. No government can ever tax you for how much you know. That is why leaders are readers.

2). Train yourself to see opportunities

When you start out, things will go slow because you’ll be giving them the energy, then as you move forward things and ideas start presenting themselves. How much you are going to grow from that will be determined by the opportunities you accept vs reject.

No need to be afraid when things don’t go the way you expected them to because that is also a new opportunity to see things from a much more experienced perspective. But,

In order to learn from these opportunities…

3). Make fewer choices.

Yeah, I know how that sounds, why make fewer choices while more equates to more outcomes. Well, this is where most people make mistakes by pursuing too many opportunities that their energy gets scattered everywhere. Where this leads to overwhelm and burnout. However,

You ought to be different. Analyze your opportunity based on the person you are and the outcome you’d want to achieve, and make that choice. Stick to it and exploit every detail of that opportunity until either of these two things happens.

Either you succeed or find a better way than the previous.

Conclusion

This is just my perspective on starting. Yours might be a little bit different that is why I hope this article might be the guide you needed to make that important decision of wanting a better life for yourself and others.
